We used a big A/C company with rave reviews not even a month ago. Got a runaround and sales pitched the whole time for services that were basically the price of a new unit. Replaced pieces that weren't even the issue, but of course, we didn't know that. Sucks how much people will try to take advantage of you. And because of that and declining to go with a year's worth of certain services, guess what happened? Our A/C stopped working again over the weekend. Not wanting to go through hoops again, we went with a company that was referred to us by someone we actually knew, and man, I am glad we did. The technician stayed for hours, answered questions, was very nice and professional, didn't play the blame game, replaced a motor, and didn't charge us an arm and a leg. The whole experience was great. Learned of Sharp from Next Door app and neighbors being pleased. Did a little research and called to make an appointment. Was able to schedule for the next day. Andrew came to our home and was amazing. He was thorough, took the time to explain what he was doing and our options. He made his way through a tiny attic door and flushed our primary and secondary lines. He cleaned and coated our secondary drain pan to give it a longer life. This was something another company had said we would have to replace at $1,300. All in all, very impressed with Andrew and our experience. We will make sure to call them again should we need anything.

There is a reason Sharp Air has a 4.9/5 rating. They are fantastic and easy to work with. Go ahead. Call the other guys to come out and give a free estimate. Then ask Sharp Air for a quote. If they don't beat EVERYBODY by at least $1,000 WITHOUT haggling, I'll eat my shorts. Sharp Air has installed 2 units for me now (2 different properties). They follow up to make sure everything is good, and fix any issues before THEY are happy. All the other contractors want to quote some ridiculous price without even figuring out costs. Sharp has NEVER done that to me, they come out and look at everything and leave - no sales pitch, just 'we'll email you a quote soon', which they do. It's not going to cost you to go with them. Even if you get 5 other estimates first, I swear Sharp Air will come in with the best pricing. And they have top-notch people doing the install, repairs and tune-ups. Treat them like you want to be treated, and you will have the best a/c company interaction of your life. Thank you Sharp Air, including Mitch (manager), Andrew, Jacob, Justin, and all the other wonderful people there!!

We needed to replace two AC systems for our home earlier this year. We met with multiple HVAC contractors. The quotes varied wildly, they all swore by different brands and recommended different sizes and SEER ratings. That was a lot of information to process, and I wasn't very impressed by any of them. We came across Sharp Air and were impressed. Justin was professional, forthright, and knowledgeable. He wasn't pushing anything and had intelligent reasons for the suggestions. We went with Sharp's recommendations, and they started work within a few weeks. Justin sent his crew, who started work in the morning, and by the evening both new AC units were up and running. I had Sharp Air come out for routine maintenance on my AC system before summer hit. First, the technician was very friendly and thorough. He took detailed photos and notes of problem areas in the system and things that looked good. In addition to being reasonably priced, this was also the most extensive maintenance a technician has done in the 5 years we've lived in Arizona.
Several hours after the technician left, the AC wouldn't turn on. Uh oh. I reached out to Sharp Air and they immediately scheduled a service appointment for the next morning (on a Saturday). It turns out there was a problem that only happened 50% of the time so the technician never saw it. Sharp Air fixed the problem at no extra cost and impressed me throughout the whole process.

Sharp Air helped me choose and install a new heat pump + air handler system. They beat the quote of another HVAC company, and the responsiveness of their service manager, Justin, was great! Justin was top notch in all the communication, giving quick quotes and great advice. After visiting my property, he noticed uneven temperature in the house and gave more recommendations on how to fix that. Sharp Air had the system in stock and a very close availability (in just two days). Another great team of techs (led by Aaron) came to install the system, were very nice, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. They installed the system following best practices (air handler and flex in the attic suspended, heat pump put on anti-vibration pads, etc.). New dampers were also installed to better balance air flow and have it evened out across the whole house. Sharp Air is now my favorite HVAC company. I will continue doing business with them, and I can't imagine any other company better than them.

These guys are awesome. I just built a brand-new house that needed a few HVAC tweaks. Since Sharp Air did the original install for the builder, I asked them to come back to tidy up a few things. Service Manager Justin came out right away, and I had them move a thermostat that was in a bad spot from the home's design. They also installed Google Nest T-stats for me. Outstanding work in a timely manner. Not cheap, but worth the cost. I also had an issue with one of the outside condenser units making noise. Emory came out on another trip immediately, in June, when they were slammed, and fixed it right up for me under warranty. Units now run and sound great. Thank you, Justin, Emory, and Owner Mitch! Justin from Sharp Air Conditioning and Heat saw my cry for help on the Thumbtack website, regarding my broken AC, and proactively reached out to me. He was at my condo within an hour and diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes. Unfortunately, my motor was broken and replacing it would be $1000. Justin pointed out the pros and cons of changing the motor with another motor of its kind (quite obsolete) or getting a whole new AC. He wasn’t pushy and answered all of my questions respectfully, despite my asking the same question more than once. So, I decided to schedule the installation of a whole new AC with Sharp. Justin brought me a personal air conditioning unit to keep me comfortable until the AC was installed. They worked with me through a complex re-design of my house HVAC when the original construction design couldn't keep up with summer temperatures (the builder undersized all the ducts and the units to increase their profits at our expense). Sharp Air (technicians and management) worked with me on multiple options to properly size the ductwork and HVAC units for both floors (which wasn't straightforward due to the layout not being ideal for HVAC efficiency). It was an expensive investment, but ultimately felt like it was the right plan and that Sharp Air wasn't overselling or overpricing. The installation went relatively smoothly for such a large job, and they took care of the minor issues promptly with full transparency to me. The new design and ductwork/equipment is working out perfectly. We're able to meet set point finally evenly across the house and in both floors, even at the peak of summer. We're very happy with how it turned out! We were also customers prior to the redesign for annual preventative maintenance.
